My Story In Pictures

June 2019

My second exhibition called " Enlightenment" at the state of the art library in Ballyroan, Rathfarnham.  The exhibition was held in the month of June 2019 with a big display of quirky artworks, my Ocean treasures or what I call: gifts from the sea!  All my pieces were handmade and handcrafted with great care and they made perfects gifts from Ireland!

This was a section of my exhibition dedicated to Encaustic paintings, a very old & ancient form of art, used as far back as the 5th century B.C. by Greek artists.  I enjoyed very much practising and making these outstanding and colourful pieces of art, using natural pigments and melted pure beeswax.  Encaustic means “to burn in or fuse”, and so I did!  I enjoyed immensely using this ancient medium, a mix of natural beeswax mixed with pure damar.  The result was a collection of original & vibrant colourful paintings for my exhibition.

Another visual perspective of my exhibition held in Ballyroan Library in June 2019. All my unique creations were very well perceived by the public and made original & creative presents for all their special occasions.

This section of my exhibition was dedicated to alcohol inks impressed on tiles.

It was fascinating for me to use these brightly coloured dye-based paints and see the chemical reactions between them to create free flowing textures.

These bright & colourful paintings made perfect art pieces for trendy and modern decor.
